November is National Care at Home Month

This November, the Nebraska Home Care Association joins with home care agencies and caregivers across the state, in recognizing National Care at Home Month. Together, we're raising awareness about the unique and irreplaceable value of health care delivered in the comfort of home. 

Home-based care offers high-quality, patient-centered support that empowers individuals to take an active role in their health and recovery while remaining independent in their own homes and communities. It's where 90% of Americans prefer to be when managing chronic conditions or recovering from illness.

This month, we celebrate the caregivers and professionals who make it possible for Nebraskans to receive compassionate, effective care right where they belong.

Let's take time this November to: 

• Thank the caregivers, nurses, and support staff who make home care possible.
• Recognize the importance of expanding access to home-based services.
• Celebrate the independence and quality of life that home care helps preserve for people of all ages.
